The ALN Optional vena cava filters : Permanent and/or Temporary

ALN vena cava filters with hook are permanent and/or temporary, which means that if indicated, you can remove the filter with a hook through one of our 3 removal and/or repositioning kits and/or with a lasso.

One of the advantages of the vena cava filter with a hook is indeed the possibility of a withdrawal with a lasso. Note that the range of ALN filters has been enriched since 2013 with this model of vena cava filters with hook, without however the original design of the filter is modified.

   

• A unique design with 6 anchoring and 3 centering legs
• Legs of different lengths to minimize the risk of crossing legs during implantation .
• The option to remove the filter with a hook with one of our 3 ALN removal and/or repositioning kits and/or with a lasso: an option for additional removal is offered.
• An optional vena cava filter approved to be implanted in a vena cava with a maximum diameter of 32 mm. (Check the maximum allowed diameter according to the registration in your country with your distributor)
